Pastoral Musings

Should we be surprised by the unexpected? Isn’t the unexpected a part of life? The unexpected seems to ebb and flow in our lives. Sometimes, it can feel as if it catches us off guard, yet I wonder at times if the unexpected becomes an opportunity for God to do deeper work in us. This unexpected can be a major life event or just having to adapt our schedule during the day to make something happen.

What has been unexpected in your life recently, and what opportunity may be before you?

You are loved.
